completed his doctorate in 1998 with a study about the Uruk expansion. He is the author of Les temps proto-urbains de Mésopotamie, Paris, CNRS, 2003. Since 2005, he is in charge of the French excavations at Tell Hariri / Mari, Syria, as their director. He belongs to the staff of the University Versailles - St. Quentin where he teaches Near Eastern History and Archaeology since 1999. |
